Jean-Claude Cardona B.Com (Accty & Mgmt) B.A. (Hons) Bus. Mgmt.

Jean-Claude joined the CSB Group in 2008 as Group Chief Financial Officer, and forms part of the CSB management team. He is responsible for the overall management of the Group accounting, treasury and budgeting functions and also the Corporate clients accounting unit, managing a staff compliment of 7.

 

Jean-Claude brings with him a wealth of experience in accounting and management hence complimenting CSB Group’s excellent customer-driven services by enhancing the provision of financial and consultancy services.

 

After graduating from the University of Malta, majoring in Accountancy and Management and completing an Honours degree in Business Management in 1993, Jean-Claude joined an audit and accountancy firm. He specialised in subcontracted accounting and consultancy assignments rising through the ranks until he became a partner in the year 2000.

 

In 2005, Jean-Claude was appointed Chief Operations Officer at sedqa, the National Agency against Drugs & Alcohol Abuse, leading a professional staff compliment in excess of 80. Jean-Claude chaired and addressed a number of international conferences and during his tenure was responsible for increasing all social marketing initiatives. In 2011, Jean-Claude completed his studies with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK), and is now a qualified Chartered Management Accountant.
