Zammit & Associates - Advocates Article Contest launched in collaboration with ELSA Malta
ELSA Malta has invited all its members to participate in the Zammit & Associates, Advocates Article Contest. The best 3 articles will be awarded cash prizes.
All ELSA members who are either in LL.B. III or enrolled in LL.D. or LL.M. at the Faculty of Laws, University of Malta will be eligible to participate. Participants must either submit an article dealing with any of the following titles:
- Arbitration clauses in the Memorandum and Articles of Association of a limited liability company- An effective method of dispute resolution?
- Financial Services: The salient features of the Directive on Alternative Investment Fund Managers ('AIFMD').
- The responsibilities, accountability and liability of the Compliance Officer under the Investment Services Act, Investment Services Rules and related regulations.
- Malta's commitment to international standards of information exchanges- a necessary development to consolidate the island's position as a first-class financial services centre.
- ICANN's Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) - its nature, scope and limitations.
- The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) and the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA)- A threat to the Internet as we know it?
- The Capetown Convention (Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment)- Additional benefits afforded to aircraft financers.
or any other article dealing with:
- Corporate Law
- Financial Services
- Tax
- Technology, Media & Communication
- Aviation
The winning submissions will be published on the Zammit & Associates, Advocates website.
